Attendees will enjoy music, a stroll through our historic business district and will have the opportunity to become familiar with the continuing redevelopment of downtown. Make sure to visit all the venues and get your ticket stamped at each one for a chance to win a wonderful gift. At Rotary Centennial Plaza the talents of Hampton's pastry chef will be the sweet finish to your evening along with dessert wines.

Sumter County Gallery of Art and Patriot Hall
January 19, 2012 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM

The main event will be held at the Sumter County Gallery of Art and Patriot Hall Center. This signature wine tasting event enhanced by a captivating art exhibit, will titillate wine and food lovers appetites. International and domestic wines will be presented from crisp sauvignons blanc to complex pinot noir and lush cabernet to sparkling dessert wines. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be presented by ten of Sumter’s best caterers and restaurateurs. Live jazz, classical music and the ever popular silent auction are additional attractions. You will not want to miss the Martini Bar along with two new alluring specialty rooms.

A Special Recognition Tasting for sponsors, donors and key supporters will be presented at 6:00 p.m. in the Upstairs Gallery Media Room. Back again are David Ball and Phyllis O'Neil of Calicaro Wine. They will bring a few new wines such as Liberty Bridge "Best barrel" Pinot Noir, Zig Zag Alley Zinfandel and Savannah Viognier for the delight of our major sponsor/supporter groups.

From Carolina to California, their pinot noirs are fast becoming noted for balance and elegance, with tons of bright red and complex, subtle, dark fruit flavors that "leap out of the glass." Ball and O'Neil will share their knowledge of Calicaro's artisan-crafted wines and discuss each wine during this event.
